Winner - Best Planning Idea Small Project, 2018 PIA Victoria Awards for Planning Excellence

In a first of its kind, a collaborative partnership between VicRoads, Launch Housing, Department of Health & Human Services and Schored Projects, 57 transportable homes are being delivered in Melbourne's inner west for person's at risk of homelessness.

The unit, Fredi.e, is designed for singles or couples and can be installed on site in one day after being fabricated in a factory environment. When the land is required for road widening the units will be moved to an alternative site with ease.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to ancestors, country and community. 
We pay our respects to their Elders both past and present and to their enduring cultures.
