Winner - Leading Housing Development Project Victoria, 2017 Australasian Housing Institute Awards

This project is for seven townhouses (5 x 1 bedroom and 2 x 2 bedroom) which provide affordable, permanent and secure housing to women and their children. The design objective was to provide multiple open space options to the residents including the shared walkway designed as a communal open space with seating, productive landscaping and bike storage. It was equally as important that the homes be secure and acoustically separated from the adjacent train line and bicycle path.
