This proposal for 16 detached and semi-detached dwellings in Carrum Downs takes a conventional approach to planning policy, subdivision and housing typology while pushing the notion of individuality by focusing ‘design investment’ along the shared driveway. A detailed, continuous brick element both knits the dwellings together and punctuates moments along the length, breaking up the regularity of the repeated dwelling units.

The landscape proposition adds to the streetscape, using the unique combination of salvaged palms and new native planting.
